While many families choose cremation and inurnment for cost considerations, we are finding that many are now choosing cremation when affordability is not an issue. Columbariums and Mausoleums need some premium niches to satisfy this growing need. Premium niches provide much greater profit per sale and per square foot of building space. After some of our installations we have had families with existing niches move up to the premium niches, illustrating that the need had been there for some time. Premium niches are coveted by sales people, management and most importantly, families.
Retail prices are distinct to each individual area, but profits are always three to four times greater per niche with premium niche units. We recommend 10% of available space to be set aside for premium niches. This 10% will return 35% to 40% of your profit over time.
